Perfect cube
Ah yes, a perfect cube in 3 point perspective. It doesn't get much better than that. Also, regarding measuring in 3 point, is it still possible to scale buildings and find the relative distance to the ground plane from the camera? I have no clue but I'll look into it tomorrow by testing some ideas.

A lot of brain pain
Just some random drawings, got inspired by a cyberpunk themed anime trailer for them, that I forgot the name of of course. I wanted the drawings to be in 3 point to practice, my current problem is figuring out the leg length with foreshortening. I have been drawing legs without enough foreshortening into space, so the figures look shorter in general.

I may be watching a certain show again...
I've been spending the whole day with my cousin catching up and talking about whatever comes to our mind. We've also started watching a certain anime that I'm sure nobody will guess...

Is that... a male?
Wow, a drawing of a dude on this blog, with what appears to be some form of scoliosis. I drew this up for the blog post since a lot of studying I did today was watching some course lectures. I drew this with ink in one go so I didn't really construct at all, just thought a lot about where to put the line for the contours. It produced something half decent yet with obvious flaws (namely gesture) that construction would've fixed for me.
I've got to say though, viscom has done wonders for me so far. I was doodling in my sketchbook today and viscom has without a doubt helped me with my drawing skills, I'm glad I stuck with the course, albeit slowly :)

Big Tortle
Only got another hour in today, but considering I wasn't in the mood for it and still did it anyway, I think I did quite alright. A good portion of the hour went to the viscom exercises I used to do.
Also, just finished the last three episodes of Soul Eater a minute ago... The show was great and everything, but that final battle/episode... pretty lame resolution not gonna lie. Although if I was the target audience I would've been pretty happy with it. It was my first anime ever I was introduced to back in 2014, so it had some nostalgia to it, but even then I would say it was great overall. Might have to draw some fanart again of the main characters some day. Anyway, this is a art blog, not a anime review blog.
Speaking of, will Mirai Nikki ever have a close contender? The world may never know.

Tooooortle
Could only get in a small drawing of a turtle for Father's Day, he's a bit smaller than the size of my palm, but he's gonna turn into a big boy tomorrow.
Me and my sister went out shopping and got a breadbox for our dad. He cultures his own yeast and orders special flower to make his own bread so we thought it'd fit. Not sure where his interest in bread comes from but I'm not complaining. We also bought ice cream for the family on our way back.

MEGAPOST 2
Why hello there, it's been a minute, hope you've been doing well.
I have not forgotten my viscom studies. Here is roughly 3/4ths of my drawing progress since I have arrived in Turkey. As you can tell from a few pages, my frustrations were not hiding anywhere, especially my last post with the turtles (?). However, I have learned a lot from my daily studying so far and think I've made some pretty good improvements in viscom. Actually, the first image on this post is the same octopus I drew in the last megapost (May 23), and I think the improvements are clear to even non-artists.
Also, I've picked up daily reading as a habit. My goal has been to read one hour a day, which has been going on for roughly 8 days now I think. I just finished the book Atomic Habits by James Clear. Nothing earthshattering... yet (more on that tomorrow), the information is only as good as it is put to use, so we'll see how well I implement the things I learned. I even downloaded a habit tracking app on my phone. It even reminds me when I haven't checked or logged a habit by a time I set. And yes, you bet, I have made a Post Blog habit in the app, so I'm feeling confident.
Also, this is the last megapost.
