Stairs are not as hard as plants

This drawing of a Basil plant took the total combined time of all of the plants from yesterday, and came out a lot better because of it. Before I started on the drawing, I went to review yesterday's page for what I could improve upon and it really helped a lot. Some of the things included finding form center lines and making a value map before putting down value. I did struggle with the highlights a lot so I'll have to figure out some solutions in the next drawing.

Also, I finally finished the stairs diagram. It took a while but it turned out to be really easy and repetitive, even made a quick railing along the side of it. I'm really glad I got the drafting table for this course, I managed to get 5 video lessons done in the same amount of time it took to get 3-4 done in the past, so the value is already paying off. Not worrying about horizontals and verticals really makes the workflow go way more smoothly. That being said, I've already gotten started on the next diagram and will be posting that one tomorrow.
