Despite what it seems, I actually used a lot in-picture perspective techniques to help make this head. I totally forgot and remembered how to use the elipse to find your 90 degree angles. Something about my faces just aren't right though, and I am going to get to the bottom of it. It just looks too stylized even though I was going for realism. I was thinking it was the lips since it's what I'm the worst at but after trying different lips I totally think it's anywhere from the nose to eyeridge region. Maybe it's just the line art selling it as not real since, well, people aren't lines. But that feels like a cop out for me, so tomorrow I will construct a bunch of my own heads and draw a bunch of real ones and compare.
